Indemnity & Liability Waiver
All anglers acknowledge and accept the following by completing registration:
Indemnity Agreement
- Participation is entirely at own risk
- Activities may involve risks of injury, drowning, or death
- Boats and watercraft carry inherent dangers
- Weather and environmental factors are unpredictable
Waiver of Liability
- All anglers indemnify and hold harmless CarpCraft, organizers, sponsors, venue owners and staff
- Covers all claims, damages, injuries or death, regardless of cause
- No angler may participate without accepting this waiver
Boat & Safety
- Lifejackets compulsory at all times on boats
- No waders in boats
- All safety rules will be strictly followed
Media Consent
- Optional consent for photos/videos for CarpCraft promotional purposes
- Can be declined during registration
Competition Format
- Teams of 2 anglers (3rd optional, +R500)
- Top 3 carp per team determines bag weight & standings
- Runs 30 July 19:00 to 2 August 10:00
Peg Rules
- Pegs via random draw
- No peg changes
- Fish within allocated peg boundaries only
- No casting into neighbouring pegs
Fishing Rules
- Max 4 rods per team in water
- One hook rig per rod
- Rods must not be left unattended
- Only carp ≥ 7 kg count
- Fish must be landed using landing nets
Weighing & Scoring
- Place in weigh sling immediately
- Call marshal immediately via WhatsApp
- Fish not to be held longer than necessary
- Dead fish not counted
- Organizer's scale is final
Fish Care
- Carp care is priority
- Carp cradle or mat is compulsory
- Apply antiseptic for hook wounds
- Fish returned safely after weighing
Boat Rules
- Lifejackets compulsory at all times
- No waders in boat
- Max 2 people per boat
- No standing while in motion
- Stay within allocated peg zone
Bait & Equipment
- No illegal or banned substances
- Boats allowed unless weather restricts
- No drones for spotting or baiting
- Bait boats allowed
Conduct
- Respect fellow anglers at all times
- No excessive noise or disturbance
- Alcohol in moderation only
- Misconduct leads to disqualification
Disqualification
- Breaking any rules
- Cheating or unsportsmanlike behaviour
- Fishing outside allocated area
- Non-compliance with safety rules

Random peg allocation draw. Arrive on time. Pegs 1–6 = Zone 1, Pegs 7–12 = Zone 2, Pegs 13–18 = Zone 3.

Lines in the water. All teams at their pegs, max 4 rods per team in the water at any time.

Fishing in Progress
3 nights and days. Call your marshal via WhatsApp on every catch ≥ 7kg. Top 3 carp per team count toward bag weight.

All lines out. Final weigh-in, results announcement, and prize-giving. Organizers' decisions are final.
